The Wasatch without the waiting.

Ogden is the Wasatch's working-class door: Snowbasin's immaculate Olympic terrain is twenty-five minutes up the canyon, Powder Mountain's uncrowded acres just past it, and nobody's fighting you for first chair the way they do in the Cottonwoods.

Summer, the Bonneville Shoreline and canyon trails leave from the east bench, Waterfall Canyon climbs right out of a neighborhood, and the Schoolroom slabs give after-work climbing ten minutes from downtown. The Ogden River runs through a restored downtown stretch with its own little kayak park.

Historic 25th Street has gone from rough to genuinely good, houses still cost Utah-normal, and the aerospace-and-outdoor-industry job base is real. It's the value ski town of the whole Wasatch.
