The Greens run down the eastern horizon: Stowe and Sugarbush under an hour, Bolton's backcountry closer, and a statewide web of legendary mountain bike trails — Kingdom Trails is ninety minutes of pure flow. Foliage season isn't a postcard cliché here; it's three weeks of the entire state on fire.
Jobs are solid for a small city — clean energy, food producers, the university, a sneaky-good tech scene. Vermont will literally pay some remote workers to move here, which tells you how the state thinks.
